Dong Bang Shin Ki

TVXQ (Tong Vfang Xien Qi), grupo de música coreano.
Este grupo lo componen cinco chicos especializados en el baile, los a capella, la actuación, el pop con influencias R&B.
El grupo ha ganado renombre en Japón, Taiwán, China, y otros países del este de Asia.

Hoy en día, se han convertido en uno de los grupos más influyentes de Asia, y son uno de los mejores grupos de la wave coreana. TVXQ es su nombre internacional y oficial, en Hanja de escribe “東方神起” y también se les conoce por otros nombres. Su nombre coreano es Dong Bang Shin Gi (동방신기), que se escribe abreviado DBSK o DBSG. El quivalente japonés es Tōhōshinki, que es abreviado THSK. El grupo debutó en Corea del Sur, Japón, Taiwán, y China durante el 2004

Historia

La frase coreana “Dong Bang Shin Ki” se traduce casi literalmente como “Dioses que salen del Este” o “Dioses que provienen del Este”. Este grupo de cinco chicos se convirtieron en ellos después de una audición en el 2004. Los participantes de la audición fueron divididos en grupos y recibieron entrenamiento para encontrar su talento potencial. Todos los miembros de TVXQ fueron originalmente los líderes vocales de su grupo.

El primer miembro en entrar fue Kim JunSu (김준수). Le gustaba cantar en la iglesia cuando era pequeño. Entró en la banda gracias a su participación a los 14 años en un programa televisado que buscaba nuevos talentos cuyos jueces eran Moon Hee Jun y Kanga de H.O.T. Su gran voz se ganó al jurado y ganó un entrenamiento cuidadoso durante los siguientes seis años hasta que debutó como Xiah JunSu (시아준수; Xiah es pronunciado She-ah en coreano, como el “she” inglés.). Xiah era un stage name (nombre artístico) que Junsu eligió, explicando a sus fans que el nombre era un diminutivo de “Asia”, ya que Asia es pronunciado “a-shi-a” en coreano. “Xiah” puede ser una referencia a su deseo de convertirse, no sólo en una estrella en Corea, si no en una estrella reconocida en todo el continente.
El segundo miembro en entrar, Jung YunHo (정윤호), se aseguró su puesto en TVXQ a través de una competición de baile. Antes de esto, él acumuló cierta experiencia musical como rapero y backup dancer para la cantante de K-pop Dana y su video Diamond. El nombre artístico que eligió es U-know YunHo que viene de su nombre coreano YunHo que se pronuncia como “You know” en inglés. Es el segundo miembro más mayor en TVXQ y además es el líder del grupo.
Kim JaeJoong (김재중) dejó su ciudad natal en Chungman para la audición de SM Entertainmet. Dejando el abrigo del hogar, él experimentó pobreza y la disputa antes de convertirse en una celebridad. Él debutó bajo el nombre que un adivino le predijo años antes: YoungWoong JaeJoong (영웅재중). YoungWoong significa “héroe” en coreano, por eso su nombre internacional, Hero.
Shim ChangMin (심창민) fue agrupado con los participantes más jóvenes de la audición. Igual que Xiah JunSu, él impresionó al jurado con sus poderes vocales. Entró en la banda bajo el nombre de ChoiKang ChangMin (최강창민; la parte que corresponde a su nombre en inglés es Max). ChoiKang in e coreano significa "el mejor;" "Max" se convirtió en una interpretación internacional de este nombre. Seis meses antes del debut del grupo, un miembro final fue añadido.
Park YooChun (박유천) vivió en Virginia durante cuatro duros años debido al divorcio de sus padres. El nombre artístico de YooChun, Micky, escrito 秘寄 en Hanmoon (Caracteres Chinos), significa “arma secreta”, lo que simboliza su deseo de convertirse en una “arma secreta” en la industria musical. Micky era también su nombre en inglés cuando vivía en Virginia, Estados Unidos. Como ganador de un concurso de talentos, él se garantizó la oportunidad de cantar con SM Entertainment en Corea. Ahora actúa bajo el nombre artístico de Micky Yoochun (믹키유천).

Debut

TVXQ hizo su primera aparición en 2003 durante un Christmas time showcase, que también incluía a BoA y Britney Spears su debut se hizo junto a la ya estrella y compañera de SM Ent. BoA. Actuaron con su single debut “Hug” así como con una versión a capella de “O Holy Night” que cantaron acompañados de BoA. Con el tiempo el grupo lanzó dos singles antes de su primer álbum en 2004. TVXQ sorprendió a todos siendo los #1 en las listas coreanas tres meses después de su debut.
Para la preparación de su primer álbum, a banda grabó el single “Tri-Angle” con BoA y The TRAX. La profunda popularidad de BoA en Japón junto con el despliegue de The TRAX en dicho país, ayudó a promover el conocimiento de esta banda de chicos en el extranjero.

Mini Series

Banjun Theater

Su primera aparición como actores fue a finales del 2005 y principios del 2006, en su primera mini-serie llamada Banjun Theater, la cual fue transmitida en la cadena de televisión SBS. Esta serie contiene 9 episodios.

El primero de ellos, es afectuosamente llamado entre las fans "The King and the Clown'', haciendo alusión a la famosa película coreana Wang-ui Namja (El hombre del Rey, 2005), en realidad no fue un episodio sino la actuación que marcaba el inicio del Banjun Theater. En ella, cada uno de los integrantes tenía un papel de la película y tenían que hacer una escena de manera continua. Los personajes fueron dados de la siguiente manera:

Yunho = Jang-sang.
Yoochun = Gong-gil.
Jaejoong = Nuk-su.
Changmin = Cheo-sun.
Junsu = Pol-jol.

El segundo episodio, "Tokyo Holiday" (Vacaciones en Tokio), fue realmente grabado en Tokio y trata de Yunho perdiéndose en la inmensa ciudad japonesa al lado de una intérprete que, aparentemente, lo detesta.
"First Love 1 y 2" (Primer Amor), son los episodios donde los cinco integrantes cuentan como descubrieron el amor.
"The Masked Fencer" (El Defensor Enmascarado), está ambientado en el año 1500 aproximadamente, Yoochun es el fiel sirviente del Señor Yunho, quien tiene una prometida que ama a su sirviente.
"Dangerous Love" (Amor Peligroso), Junsu y Changmin son secuestrados mientras Jaejoong descubre que Yunho está siendo 'demasiado' afectuoso con él. Uno de los episodios más cómicos.
"Finding Lost Time" (Buscando el Tiempo Perdido), Yoochun es visitado por un fantasma de su pasado a la vez que recupera una amistad perdida.
"Uninvited Guest" (Invitado sin Invitación), alguien está tramando grandes complots en contra de TVXQ y los cinco chicos deben encontrar al culpable antes de que haga más daño.
"The Most Unforgettable Girl in My Life" (La Chica Inolvidable en mi Vida), Yunho sale a una cita a ciegas mientras los demás, en la total aburrición, cuentan sobre las chicas más inolvidables con las que han salido.

Vacation

Segunda Mini- Serie que consiste en cuatro episodios. Vacation solo fue exhibida en la Universidad de Yonsei del 7 de Julio al 8 de Agosto del 2006. La línea dramática de esta historia es que los cinco integrantes después de un momento de presión y fastidio son enviados de vacaciones por dos semanas. Los episodios son:

"Cassiopeia" - Yunho se encuentra con una fan que le ha estado enviando cartas desde hace bastante tiempo contándole que está muy enferma... pero las apariencias engañan.
"Beautiful Life" (Vida Hermosa) - Changmin y Junsu se van juntos a pueblear, pero el quedarse dormidos, lastimar a un cartero y hacer del baño al aire libre... puede cambiar sus vidas.
"The Way You Are" (Como tu eres) - Jaejoong es confundido con alguien que es casi idéntico a él y que estafó a mucha gente, Jae está seguro de que sólo se parecen en el físico por todo lo que cuentan de él... pero uno no puede creer sólo lo que la gente cuenta.
"Eternal" (Eterno) - Yoochun despierta en un extraño y a la vez conocido lugar, todo va bien, hasta que descubre que viajó al pasado y tiene una dolorosa misión que cumplir.
Dating on Earth (Citas en la Tierra) que aunque ya haya salido a la venta, pasó mucho tiempo para que esto sucediera, ya que las Cassiopeias estuvieron en contra, debido a la escena de Beso de nuestro amado Oppa Yoochun...xD

JaeJoong nació en una familia de clase media, y por lo que sabemos hoy, fue abandonado por su padre. Su madre lo dio en adopcion a otra familia cuando apenas tenia 2 años por lo que el cambio no fue traumatico para el bebe.
JaeJoong crecio feliz en esta familia junto a sus 8 hermanas. En el 2001 comenzo a formar parte de un gran proyecto de SM Entertaiment en la busqueda de un grupo musical donde se encontro con Junsu y Yuhno y finalmente con Changmin y Yoochun para formar DBSK.

Xiah tiene una de las mejores voces dentro y fuera de TVXQ y ha llegado a participar en un par de trabajos como solistas; Timeless con Jang Ji Riin y Beautifull Thing para la banda sonora de su drama VACATION. Xiah es otro de los miembros mas queridos de TVXQ por su aspecto infantil y alegre.

Comparte una grandisima amistad no solo con los miembros de TVXQ, sino tambien con los de superjunior, para ser mas exactos Kibum, Siwon y Hangen.

Yoochun nacio en Seul a pesar de que a los 14 años sus padres se divorciaran y el, junto a su madre y su hermano Ricky, se marcharon a Virginia, EEUU. Alli estuvo hasta que en su vuelta a Corea fue seleccionado en el casting de SM para formar parte del futuro TVXQ. Yoochun tiene fama de ser el mas conquistador del grupo y a la vez uno de los mas responsables y sensibles del grupo. Ha colaborado en los acordes de la mayoria de las canciones a capella que han cantado y junto a Xiah, compuso White Lie, que aparecia en su ultimo album.

En los castings conocio a Xiah con quien forjo su primera gran amistad. Tras ganar el primer lugar en el concurso de baile, fue a formar parte de DBSK.
